WhatsApp booking model

Every enquiry, booking, and confirmation on this website is facilitated via WhatsApp. Submitting a request through our Booking Request Builder does not guarantee or secure a booking. A booking is only confirmed once we explicitly confirm availability in our WhatsApp chat and receive the required booking deposit.

Deposits and payment

To secure your tents and safari arrangements, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. We share secure payment links (via Razorpay) or bank transfer details directly in our WhatsApp chat for this deposit. The remaining 50% balance is payable either prior to arrival or at our desert office in Jaisalmer before we head out to the camp. We do not accept credit cards or digital payments at the camp itself due to limited cellular coverage in the dunes.

Cancellations and refunds

Because we prepare fresh meals, coordinate transport, and reserve guides and camels specifically for your booked date, cancellation policies are strictly enforced:

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date receive a full refund of the deposit, minus any transaction fees.

Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours prior to arrival incur a charge of 50% of the deposit amount.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival, or no-shows, are fully non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 3 days in advance. We do our best to accommodate date changes based on availability, but cannot guarantee it during peak season (September to March).

Desert safety and liability

A desert safari camp stay is an outdoor adventure in the Thar Desert. Activities such as camel riding, jeep safaris, and overnight stays under the open sky involve natural elements, movement, and uneven terrain.

While we take precautions to ensure your comfort and safety, guests participate in these activities at their own risk. We are not liable for personal injuries, medical emergencies, or lost personal belongings during your stay.

Please follow the safety guidelines provided by our guides and handlers, particularly during camel rides and vehicle transfers.

Camp rules and conduct

We aim to maintain the serene atmosphere of the desert. We ask all guests to respect the quiet hours starting from midnight (12:00 AM) to allow everyone to experience the desert silence.

Littering in the Thar Desert is prohibited. Please use the waste bins provided at the camp or return any non-biodegradable waste to the city with us.

Any damage caused to the Swiss tents, mud cottages, bedding, or camp equipment due to negligence or misconduct will be billed directly to the responsible guest.

Governing law

These terms and your stay with us are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your booking or stay will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
